Our commitment to making our website accessible to everyone.

Nivuteam is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 5773-2013, and the Israeli Standard SI 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA).

Accessibility Standard

This website strives to conform to the Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA. This is the standard required by Israeli accessibility regulations for websites providing a service to the public.

Accessibility Measures

We have taken the following steps to ensure accessibility:

  • The website is designed to support screen readers and assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
  • A skip-to-content link is available on every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass the navigation and jump directly to the main content.
  • All images include meaningful alternative text descriptions.
  • The site is fully navigable using keyboard only (Tab, Enter, Escape, arrow keys), with visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • We maintain a minimum color contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
  • The website is fully functional in both left-to-right (English) and right-to-left (Hebrew) layouts.
  • Form fields include associated labels and clear error messages.
  • The website is responsive and functions across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Page structure uses semantic HTML (headings, landmarks, lists) with ARIA labels to support assistive navigation.
  • An accessibility toolbar (Sienna, open-source) is available on every page, providing visitors with tools to adjust font size, contrast, color saturation, reading guide, and cursor size.

Browsers and Assistive Technologies

The website has been optimized for the following combinations:

  • Google Chrome (latest) with NVDA screen reader.
  • Safari (latest) with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
  • Firefox (latest) with JAWS screen reader.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some third-party embedded content (maps, social media widgets) may not meet all accessibility standards.
  • Older PDF documents may lack full accessibility structure.

We are continuously working to improve and address any gaps.

Accessibility Audit

The website accessibility was last audited in June 2026 using Google Lighthouse automated testing, achieving a score of 100/100 across all pages. We conduct periodic reviews and address issues as they are identified.
